Duckpool Beach

Duckpool Beach - Cornwall

This remote beach sits at the foot of a wooded valley around 4 miles north of bude. Dominated by the bulking headland of Steeple Point Duckpool beach makes up part of one of the most dramatic sections of the North Cornwall coast.

The beach is managed by the National Trust. but beyond the carpark there isn’t much in the way of facilities at this unspoilt beach. This extends to the absence of a lifeguard service and Duckpool is in no way suitable for swimming.

Instead enjoy exploring the rock pools, woods and stream that runs down to the beach.
