  • Situated near the mouth of the Menai Straights is the picturesque little town of Beaumaris. Brimming with history this isn’t the obvious place to come for the beach. That said there is a pleasant little patch of and shingle that is a great spot to watch the world go by.

If you get bored of the views to the mountains of mainland Wales you can easily take a boat trip from the adjacent pier.

    A Beautiful Beach for Walking

A gorgeous beacht that looks out to the North Wales coastline and Snowdonia mountain range! Absolutely stunning and backs onto the ever-stunning Beaumaris! Although there is a lifeboat service one must stress that this, given its close proximity to the Menai Straits is NOT FOR SWIMMING!

Not a very beachy beach - gravel rather than sand - great crabbing from the pier etc.

Many other better beaches on Anglesey but a visit to Beaumaris beach can easily be added to a visit to the Castle.

Little sand. Mostly crushed she’ll and stones leading to thick slimy mud
