This wide, sand and pebble beach is backed by a golf course and holiday village. From the beach there are views along Blue Anchor Bay and out across the Bristol Channel towards the South Wales coastline.

Located on the edge of Exmoor this area is popular with walkers - the 25-mile long West Somerset Coastal Path passes through the beach. In addition the delightful West Somerset Railway Line passes close by and gives visitors to the area an opportunity to step back in time and experience the joys of travelling through the beautiful Quantock countryside on an old fashioned steam train.

There are a choice of pay-for parking areas close by, but it is also possible to drive vehicles right next to the beach, providing easy access to those with mobility problems.
