    Made me anxious

Although there were lifeguards on duty, they didn’t do a great job of keeping surfers and swimmers apart. I felt it was too dangerous to swim. And dogs and their owners defying the dog ban in August, not great. Looks good, but not very family friendly.

Porthtowan Beach is a very special place, amazing views, good waves all year round and a great pub right on the edge of the sand
