Perranuthnoe beach is tucked away just around the corner from better known Marazion. The beach here consists of a good-sized stretch of sand backed by ochre coloured cliffs.

The beach all but disappears at high tide leaving just a narrow band of rocks. At low tide however there is an expanse of flat sand.

Perranuthnoe is popular with surfers, although this is generally during the winter. In the summer there is a recently introduced lifeguard service.
