Porthmynawyd Beach
Not far from Newgale Sands is Porthmynawyd, yet another idyllic little Pembrokeshire cove which only really comes into its own as the tide goes out. Then you will find a lovely stretch of golden sand flanked by cliffs which offer some shelter from the wind.
The cove here is generally a good spot for a swim, although given its remoteness care should be taken. There is also a cave exposed at low tide which is worth exploring along with the rockpools.
Porthmynawyd is somewhat off the beaten track requiring a hike along a valley and through the fields of Pointz Castle Farm to get to. This means the little beach is never crowded and often empty.

Porthmynawyd Beach Reviews
I swam here approaching full tide

May 11th 2021Lovely, magical little secluded beach. I swam here in sunshine just before heavy shower and hailstones on May 11. 2021. I’ll admit it I swam nude, no one else except my wife around.
