Seafield Beach (Kirkcaldy)
Seafield Beach is to be found South of Kirkcaldy, about 1 hour’s drive north of Edinburgh.
This beach is a good place to get away from it all. The Fife Coastal Path is about 10 minute walk from the beach and is a good place to go wildlife-watching. Look out for seals draped over the rocks as well as a wide variety of birds. There are also views over the Firth of Forth.
The beach itself at Seafield is mainly sandy, with rocks jutting into the sea and some good rock pools. There is a possibility of jellyfish here during the summer months.
To access the beach, take the A921 from Kirkcaldy along the seafront. Just past Morrisons supermarket the road turns left. Then turn left again into Seafield Road where the beach car park can be found.
