The building on the right is where the River Tees Pilot works from, here is where all the passage of shipping into and out of the river is controlled from. The Steel works is in the background with the Blast Furnace on the left and the column of steam coming off the Coke from the Ovens, with the main rolling mill building just visible in the centre of the image
