Felixstowe South Beach - Suffolk

New rock groyne

As part of the new sea defences at Felixstowe, 21 fishtail groynes have been constructed. The 'fishtail' part of the groyne is at the seaward end, helping to deflect the force of the waves. In this view, the pier can be seen in the distance.
