Porth Dinllaen Beach - Gwynedd

Porth Dinllaen

A tiny village nestling in the shelted eastward facing side of Trwyn Porth Dinllaen. In the 19th century this bay became important as a harbour of refuge and a busy port in the time of sailing ships - in 1861 it was reported that over 700 ships came into this harbour.
