Pendine Sands Beach - Carmarthenshire

The Museum of Speed, Pendine / Pentywyn

Pendine Sands are famous as the site of land speed record attempts. Malcolm Campbell broke the 150mph barrier here in 1925. The museum has 'Babs', the car in which J. G. Parry-Thomas was killed whilst attempting to break the record speed in 1927.
