The Esplanade, Penarth

Penarth is in some ways a curious place - part former dock town, part well-heeled suburbia, and part seaside resort. It has a beach, a pier and this attractive esplanade but away from the seafront there is little sense that it is near the sea at all. In this view one or two people enjoy the sunshine on a very warm day.
