Boscombe: the Overstrand building at dusk

Looking out from Boscombe pier at the [[1056757]], which is now complete. The upper two floors are 'beach pods' – a twenty-first century version of the beach hut, which are currently on sale for £64,995 for a single and £89,995 for a double. These prices include VAT. The centrepiece is the Urban Reef restaurant and bar, which has attracted a fair few customers on this sunny Bank Holiday Monday. Far right of picture is the continuing construction of [[1056761]]. Although I have called it the Honeycomb, after Honeycomb Chine in which it stands, I noticed today from signboards that an 'e' has crept onto the end.
