Frinton-on-Sea: Distressed seafront shelter

The sea cliffs at Frinton were generally stabilized during the construction of The Greensward around 1903. However despite the best efforts of man nature will have its way and the state of this seafront shelter demonstrates that. It is now very near the cliff edge, and the concrete base on which it was built has presumably been subject to distortion, causing structural failure in the whole building. It is now surrounded by Heras fencing but that has not deterred the graffiti taggers, a social problem that not even Frinton is immune from.
