Bournemouth: boats moored on the beach

Immediately beyond the boats, we see the sign which marks the end of the area which, during the summer months, dogs may be exercised on the beach. Beyond this stretch, they are restricted to the prom, on a lead. Also in the picture are Bournemouth pier and, to the right, Hengistbury Head at the far end of Poole Bay. We should also mention the weakening rainbow which a short while ago descended vividly to the large block of flats.
