Coppet Hall Beach - Pembrokeshire

Tunnel - a view out to Coppet Hall

There are several tunnels along the coastal walk from Wiseman's Bridge to Saundersfoot. Unlit and damp from drops falling on you to the puddles on the floor of the tunnels. This wonderful stretch of coastal path is only open subject to rock falls not occurring ... there is an alternative route signposted to climb over the cliffs which avoids the tunnels. The path was the line of the old miners' train track from the Victorian Grove Colliery and Kilerry Iron Works to the docks at Saundersfoot.
