Bendricks Beach - Glamorgan

Bendrick Rock

These lichen covered Carboniferous Limestone rocks thrust up to form the tidal islet known as Bendrick Rock near the mouth of the Cadoxton River. A line of low Triassic sandstone cliffs can be seen across the bay - these latter unconformably overlie the older and steeply tilted limestones along this stretch of coast.
