Westbourne: land-train terminus at Alum Chine

The western terminus of the land train which goes along the prom to Bournemouth and Boscombe piers. This beautiful sunny Sunday has now reached almost 5 o'clock and the sun is now passing behind the cliffs, casting shadow on the front of the train. After the most mediocre of summers, this weekend has achieved the hottest October temperatures ever recorded, with 29.9° recorded in Kent yesterday and at least 25° here in Bournemouth. It is still hot even now, as evening draws in.
