Eoropie Beach (Traigh Shanndaigh)

Eoropie Beach - Hebrides

Situated towards the northern tip of the Isle of Lewis and facing north-west Eoropie Beach takes the full force of the Atlantic. There is rarely a calm day here making it popular with surfers.

The beach itself is a large expanse of golden sand punctuated by rocky outcrops at either end of the beach.

Behind the beach is a large area of windswept dunes beyond which is the Eoropie Dunes Playpark, a 4 acre site with zip line, rope swings and climbing frames a plenty.
Unfortunately there are no further facilities.
