Small stretch of beach featuring some sand near the jetty with pebbles, mudflats and marsh further south towards the mouth of the River Parrett.

Pleasant spot for watching the boats come and go when the tide is in. Also plenty of wildlife, including seabirds from Stert and the nearby Apex Wildlife Park.

Area allowed for dogs but its not very pleasant, rubbish and large amounts of plastic strewn along the edge from the tide. Very little sand then clay like thick sludge to the water, not a nice or safe place to let you dog run or swim. Jetty unsafe and falling through again a danger. Carried as much plastic as I could to the bin but the council needs to clean up this area on a regular basis for the marine environment and aesthetics of the beach which clearly is not happening. Not safe
