Terminus Beach (Terminus)

Terminus Beach (Terminus) - Somerset
© Robert Powell and licensed for reuse under this Licence

Minehead’s north-facing Terminus beach sits between the main beach and the harbour.

In 1990 the sand and shingle beach was almost completely washed away by a violent storm. A multimillion pound project to replace the beach and the sea wall was completed in 2001.

Good for swimming, kite-surfing and windsurfing, with easy access to amusement arcades, the terminus of the West Somerset Railway and the start of the South West Coast Path.
