Rushy Bay is located on Bryher, the smallest inhabited island of the Isles of Scilly. The bay lies along the island ‘s Southern coast, which is known for being much calmer and more tranquil than the island’s wild Northern coast.

Set at the foot of Samson Hill, Rushy Bay is sheltered from much of the the wind and elements. The white sandy beach leads into calm, blue water that is ideal for swimming.

On the West end of the beach is an intricate web of rock pools that, when revealed at low tide, provide almost endless entertainment for the entire family. Kayaking or canoeing, fishing and sailing are also popular pastimes at Rushy Bay.
