Par Beach (Higher Town Bay)

Par Beach, also known as Higher Town Bay, is a rural, sandy beach on St Martin’s, the third largest of the Scilly Isles. The south-facing beach offers stunning views over the uninhabited Eastern Isles. 

What makes this place special is the pale, almost white sand which contrast beautifully with the crystal clear, azure waters of the crescent-shaped bay.  Not surprisingly this beach is used by bathers and is popular with families.

St Martins has a bakery, two cafes, a fish and chip shop and a grocery store, all to be found a short walk from this lovely beach.
