Rockley Sands is a small beach, just 150 meters long, next to Rockley Park, a large caravan park and Rockley Boat Park, near the town of Hamworthy. The beach has a view over Poole harbour and the Purbecks.

It is a sandy beach with tidal mud flats towards low tide.  Swimming is not recommended because of strong currents and there is no lifeguard. It is however a dog-friendly beach, offering an exercise area for dogs.

A short walk from the beach, down the coast visitors can find Ham Common, which is a secluded nature reserve, with a peaceful lake, ideal for a relaxing stroll in tranquil surroundings.

There is parking at the beach for about 30 cars. There is also a beach shop and café, along with toilets.
