Skateraw Beach

A small sandy beach set largely within the shelter of Skateraw harbour.

The beach is somewhat dominated by the bulk of Torness nuclear power station situated at the eastern end of the harbour. There is a walkway along the seawall in front of the power station which provides views back to the beach.

Sea fishing is surprisingly good here because of the raised temperature at the power station outfall.

The beach has a good-sized car park and the toilets here are available from May-September.
