  • The small holiday town of Ardmore boasts a mile long stretch of sandy beach. Situated midway between Dungarvan and Youghal the town retains much of its charm as well as an abundance of history.

Beginning on the northern edge of the harbour town, the beach is mostly backed by fields remaining largely undeveloped. Overlooking the town and beach is ruined cathedral with its 100ft (30m) round tower which dates back to the 12th century.
