Magherabeg Beach is a long and sandy rural beach in County Kerry, on the Magheeres Peninsular 3 miles north of Castlegregory.  It is about 6 miles long in its entirety and stretches from the hamlet of Fahamore (complete with a bar) along to Fermoyle Strand. It forms part of a protected Special Area of Conservation.

From the beach there is a magnificent view of the surrounding Kerry Mountains and across to the viewpoint at Brandon’s Head.

The beach has been awarded Blue Flag status and is popular with swimmers as the seabed is sandy and the location is in a relatively sheltered part of the bay.

There are various access points along the length of the beach and cars can be left there. The closest large village is Castlegregory, where visitors can find accommodation, shops, pubs and places to eat.
